Cabins and houses

A house built of rough-cut timber, stacked and fitted precisely together using the logbuilding technique, works wonders in terms of quality and healthy living.

In principle, these constructions don’t need a vapour barrier, as untreated wood naturally regulates humidity. A house with normal humidity levels will be easier to heat than a damp, cold interior. The inertia of untreated wood allows the walls to retain heat for several hours at a time. No nails, no solvents, no plastic, no concrete, just wood. If you don’t want to build a house, garden sheds, forest shelters or saunas are a good place to start. We’ll be happy to draw the first sketches and pass them on to a specialist office when it comes to applying for planning permission. We’ll be happy to advise you on the whole process.
